More care … in retirement planning

Pregnant women

Did you know that you can receive prenatal care here?

Prenatal checkup at the birthing center

You can receive all your prenatal care (except for ultrasounds) at our clinic.
At the beginning of your pregnancy, you can come in every four weeks; starting at the 30th week of pregnancy, you’ll come in every two weeks. Starting from your due date, we’ll see you every two days for prenatal care.

If any problems or questions arise in the meantime, you are welcome to schedule additional appointments with us at any time.

We will record the results of your prenatal checkups in your prenatal care record.

Beyond just the test results, we take plenty of time for you. You’re welcome to bring your partner, a friend, or even your siblings along to your checkups.

In our experience, the best conditions for a smooth and harmonious pregnancy are created through close contact that fosters closeness and trust.

You can easily combine your prenatal checkups at the birthing center with visits to your gynecologist.

This is because our strong collaboration with gynecologists in Marburg and the surrounding area has made this collaborative care a common and proven option for many pregnant women.

Even if you don’t plan to give birth at the birthing center, you are, of course, welcome to take advantage of all our services before and after your child is born.

NIPT – Non-invasive prenatal test

For some time now, many pregnant women have been offered the so-called non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT)—a blood test for trisomies 13, 18, and 21—which is covered by health insurance. Trisomies are rare genetic conditions that can affect a child’s physical and mental development in various ways.
Before taking the test and if the result is positive, you can contact any pregnancy counseling center (ProFamilia, SKF, Diakonie) for advice on what to do next. We are also happy to support you, offering guidance and assistance both before the test and as you move forward after a positive result. If you are not already under our care, please feel free to contact us by phone or email to schedule an appointment.
