Support Group for Parents Who Have Gone Through Difficult Experiences
This program is designed for parents who have had difficult experiences related to becoming or being parents. Whether it’s difficult births, the baby blues, or “cry babies,” we can address your concerns in this discussion group. In a kind of “self-help group,” we’ll discuss your issues, connect with one another, offer ideas, and then round out the session with a session of bodywork and movement exercises from yoga.
This service is not a substitute for therapy, and we reserve the right to refer you to professional counseling services if necessary. However, it may provide some guidance on how to process your experiences moving forward. Being supported by a group of people who have gone through similar experiences and sharing your own story with them can help make it easier to cope with traumatic experiences.
You can attend the event either once or multiple times.
